The Shimmering Lotus

Inspirations have inexplicable sources and they come in quick succession. The Shimmering Lotus series is inspired by the colours of nature. It tries to capture the simple forms yet complex textures. The paintings interweave flowers, leaves and stem in rich ink. Another part of the collection depicts emotions in gay abandon showing colourful forms using diverse media materials. The last part of the collection is in subdued colours showing a complete surrender to supreme being.
